Advance is in search of Support Workers in Camborne to assist clients with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and mental health conditions in living fulfilling lives. It is essential to possess a full UK/International driving license and have access to your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursed at 0.45p per mile.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
  • Medication administration (if required)
  • Support with meal preparation and cooking
  • Assisting with medical appointments
  • Facilitating social activities
  • Encouraging independent living skills
  • Helping with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as necessary
  • Staying current with training requirements

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Competence in completing quality support records
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Willingness to work waking nights
  • Flexibility to work between 7am and 10:30pm
  • Capability to follow Support Plans and Risk Assessments while maintaining client records
  • Literacy and numeracy skills in English
  • Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate
