Advance is on the lookout for Support Workers in Camborne to assist clients with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and mental health conditions in leading fulfilling lives. Applicants must possess a full UK/International driving license and have access to a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursed at 0.45p per mile.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
  • Medication administration (if required)
  • Supporting meal preparation and cooking
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments
  • Facilitating social activities
  • Encouraging independent living skills
  • Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as necessary
  • Staying current with training requirements

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Skilled in effective communication
  • Able to maintain quality support records
  • Available to work every other weekend
  • Willing to work waking nights
  • Able to work between 7am and 10:30pm
  • Competent in following Support Plans and Risk Assessments while maintaining client records
  • Proficient in English literacy and numeracy
  • Motivated to achieve the Care Certificate
