About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Male Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client to live a safe and fulfilling life, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and participate in community activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to our client, promoting their independence and autonomy
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management
  • Support our client to engage in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental well-being
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and quality care

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience in learning disabilities support
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and support
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
