Advance is in search of Support Workers in Camborne to assist clients in leading fulfilling lives. We provide excellent benefits, flexible working arrangements, and comprehensive training to help you embark on a fulfilling career in Social Care.

Applicants must possess a full UK/International driving license and have access to a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursed at 0.45p per mile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed
  • Administer medication when required
  • Support clients in meal preparation and cooking
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments
  • Facilitate social activities
  • Encourage the development of independent living skills
  • Assist with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintain accurate records and update care plans as necessary
  • Stay current with training requirements

Candidate Profile:

No prior experience in care or support is necessary to thrive in this role. What is essential are your values, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with autism or learning disabilities.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to complete quality support documentation
  • Willingness to work every other weekend
  • Able to work waking nights
  • Availability between 7am and 10:30pm
  • Competence in following Support Plans and Risk Assessments while maintaining client records
  • Literacy and numeracy skills in English
  • Commitment to achieving the Care Certificate
