Main Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Learning Disability CAMHS community team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions with children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions with children, young people, and their families
  • Encourage and support the wider team members to provide psychologically based care
  • Provide consultation and training to the team and external agencies
  • Supervise assistant and trainee clinical psychologists
  • Support the improvement processes taking place in the team
Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree in clinical psychology, accredited by BPS
  • Registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Supervisor training, to be a supervisor of doctoral programme clinical psychology trainees or willing to undertake training
  • Evidence of CPD in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice
