Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist within the ADHD Services at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents facing neurodevelopmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of referrals, ensuring timely access to essential services.
  • Support the ADHD team by gathering critical information for assessments through school observations and professional interactions.
  • Engage with families by responding to inquiries and providing necessary information.
  • Work under the guidance of specialist nurses and child psychiatrists to undertake specific tasks.

Team Collaboration

As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with a variety of skilled professionals, including nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. This collaborative environment fosters learning and development, allowing you to enhance your skills while contributing to the assessment and treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.

Personal Development

We value continuous learning and provide opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth. You will participate in regular supervision sessions to monitor your performance and receive support for your clinical responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in health, education, or social care settings.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the service area.
