Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our established Nurse Specialist Team at Ipswich Hospital.
The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise and support to patients, their family and carers, ensuring safe delivery and continuity of patient care by coordinating them through their patient pathway.
As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with healthcare teams both internal and external to the organization, providing an advice line service to patients and their families.
We are looking for a registered nurse with proven experience at Band 6, who has implemented significant changes or service developments that promote good practice. You will have a teaching/mentorship qualification, evidence of continuing education, and relevant degree or working towards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work under pressure. You will be a professional role model, with leadership skills and experience of managing a budget.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
