Cardiology Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cardiology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
This role offers the opportunity to independently manage and deliver services for the Rapid Access Cardiac Chest Pain Clinic, ensuring timely, efficient, and compassionate care.
The successful candidate will have significant proven recent experience in cardiology nursing and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently managing and delivering services for the Rapid Access Cardiac Chest Pain Clinic.
- Competently interpreting and analysing ECG results to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Using advanced clinical skills in assessment and non-medical prescribing to provide comprehensive care.
- Working closely with our Consultant team to develop and enhance cardiology services.
- Providing full clinical, educational, and counselling support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Person SpecificationExperience- Proven experience of working within the relevant field; Cardiology.
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Clinical teaching.
- NMC Registration.
- Evidence of continuing professional development through portfolio.
- Relevant study relating to relevant field within cardiology.
- Non-medical Prescribing.
- Expert clinical knowledge of issues affecting adults with cardiology conditions.
- Good knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to people with cardiology conditions.
- Experience of participating in audit.
