Job Overview

Role Objective

The primary focus of this position is to oversee transformation initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, within financial constraints, and in accordance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate transformation initiatives, guaranteeing timely delivery within the defined scope, budget, and quality benchmarks.
  • Formulate and oversee project timelines that detail the objectives, scope, and resource allocation for each initiative.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including executive leadership, project teams, and external collaborators, to keep them updated on project status and to address their needs and expectations.
  • Supervise project teams, ensuring they are adequately staffed and possess the requisite skills to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee financial management of projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Generate progress reports to confirm that proposed solutions are executed on schedule and within financial limits.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies as necessary.
  • Facilitate change management processes, including training and communication, to ensure successful implementation and integration of transformation initiatives.

  • Provide guidance to key stakeholders, including functional leadership and senior management, on areas of functional and cross-functional impact.
  • Assess and manage risks to support the governance and control framework.
  • Exhibit leadership and accountability in managing risks and enhancing controls related to team operations.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of organizational functions to contribute effectively to business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to stay informed about business activities and strategies.
  • Develop solutions through advanced analytical thinking, comparing and selecting from complex alternatives. In-depth analysis and interpretative thinking will be essential for problem definition and innovative solution development.
  • Incorporate findings from extensive research into problem-solving methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain trustworthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve critical business objectives, utilizing negotiation and influencing skills to drive results.

  • A proven history of effectively selecting and implementing comprehensive planning systems and tools for large-scale, complex projects.
  • A profound understanding of the BUK systems landscape and the ability to integrate a planning tool with existing systems.
  • Expertise in planning methodologies, tools, and platforms such as IBM Planning Analytics, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Oracle Hyperion, and SAP BPC.
  • Strong proficiency in business analysis, project management, and change management techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of business planning processes, concepts, and best practices, particularly within complex organizations, with a preference for experience in commercial banking.
Additional qualifications include:
  • A graduate-level education with substantial experience in commercial management across various business sectors.
  • Confidence in comprehending business strategy and ensuring project alignment with that strategy.
  • Ability to analyze data and reports to provide recommendations and propose new operational methods.
