As a Strategic Business Analyst for Innovation, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering comprehensive technology solutions that align with business needs and the foundational architecture.
  • Collaborating with product teams, operational units, and business stakeholders to gather and comprehend requirements.
  • Engaging with vendors and various internal technology teams to design holistic solutions that meet business demands.
  • Identifying and escalating risks and issues arising from the requirements gathering and solution design processes to the governance forum.
  • Analyzing integration points and establishing integration rules, attributes, and data to fulfill business requirements.
  • Actively participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to project planning while identifying potential risks and dependencies.
  • Conducting analyses with stakeholders to uncover business needs and requirements.

Driving conceptual solutions in a techno-functional capacity to bring innovative ideas to fruition, enabling the definition of high-level business and operational architectures and designs.

Working collaboratively with Business, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders using standardized techniques to gather and document business requirements (both functional and non-functional) using appropriate tools.

Ensuring the delivery of business requirements with the necessary quality and timeliness in accordance with the project plan.

Understanding the business proposition and case, validating and challenging as necessary.

Critically assessing requirements and scope against the business case.

Collaborating with solution architects and other technology teams to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Managing and controlling scope creep while driving incremental MVPs to unlock business value more rapidly.

Formulating requirements for development teams by crafting user stories, ensuring all stories are refined and prepared for development and testing in partnership with developers and testing teams.

Possessing experience in Banking and Finance, particularly in the payments landscape and corporate billing for large financial institutions.

Demonstrating experience in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Agile project environment.

Having served as a Business Analyst/Product Subject Matter Expert for Corporate Billing applications in large banking institutions.

Capable of creating various design and architecture diagrams to effectively communicate solutions to business challenges or requirements.

Exhibiting strong presentation skills to clearly articulate and convey architecture and solutions for diverse business and technology requirements, securing agreement from stakeholders.

Possessing experience in Corporate Billing and Pricing applications that provide centralized global billing capabilities to banks by integrating data from various Corporate Banking applications for the computation and generation of bills using sophisticated pricing and billing rules.

Demonstrating project management skills to collaborate with project managers in planning deliveries and tracking progress.
