We are currently seeking a Mobile Cook Manager to join our dedicated team, delivering outstanding service to our residential care homes.

This is a mobile position, requiring flexibility to cover care homes across Norfolk for 40 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings. Travel time and mileage will be compensated.

Your Responsibilities

As a Mobile Cook Manager, you will oversee and implement catering processes, ensuring compliance with hygiene, health & safety standards, and effective waste management. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality meals
  • Acting as a deputy in the absence of the Cook Manager
  • Contributing to exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices in food hygiene.

Your Experience

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a customer-focused role within the catering sector, demonstrating:

  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations
  • A proven track record in team management
  • The ability to make swift decisions and adapt to changing requirements to meet client specifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A valid driving license due to the travel demands of the role
