The Role: Regional Health and Safety Advisor - Norfolk

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team in the Norfolk region. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a company that prioritizes safety and well-being across all its operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal health and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Actively participate in client health and safety meetings, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Provide on-site assistance to project teams, conducting regular inspections and identifying potential hazards.
  • Review and evaluate safe systems of work, ensuring they are comprehensive and effective.
  • Lead and facilitate safe start meetings, promoting a culture of safety awareness among all personnel.
  • Manage day-to-day health and safety activities on construction sites, including groundworks, building, and infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate training programs for project staff, ensuring they are up-to-date on the latest safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client-facing roles.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • Proficiency in IT applications, including report writing and data analysis.
