Job Overview

Castlemeadow Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Training Specialist to join our team. As a Regional Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering staff training across our care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Develop and deliver a range of face-to-face training programs to employees, including induction and refresher training sessions.
  • Culture Development: Promote a positive and inclusive learning culture within our care homes.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Identify and address specific training needs of individuals and provide ongoing support through coaching, mentoring, and refresher training sessions.
  • eLearning Support: Assist with mandatory eLearning programs and ensure staff qualifications are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Training Materials Development: Contribute to the review and preparation of course materials and presentations, staying up-to-date with the latest social care practices, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Training Program Development: Play an active role in designing and developing current and future training programs.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant Train the Trainer qualifications, such as Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and Safeguarding.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel Requirements: A full clean driving license and access to a vehicle are essential, as up to 50% of your time will be spent commuting to various sites in Norfolk and Suffolk.
