Location: Various sites in Norfolk and Suffolk

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Care Trainer to coordinate and deliver staff training across our care homes. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to work, be able to motivate and inspire others, and support their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of face-to-face training and induction programs to employees.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning culture.
  • Recognize and assist individuals with specific training needs and provide ongoing support to staff through coaching, mentoring, and refresher training sessions.
  • Provide additional support with mandatory eLearning.
  • Stay updated with the latest social care practices, legislation, and regulatory requirements and integrate these into training materials.
  • Contribute to the review and preparation of course materials and presentations.
  • Ensure that staff qualifications are maintained and up to date, in line with the regulatory bodies.
  • Play an active role in the designing and development of current and future training programs.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or equivalent.
  • Relevant Train the Trainer qualifications, such as Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and Safeguarding.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work on their own initiative and within a team.
  • A full clean driving license and access to your own vehicle.
