About the Role:

At Barchester Healthcare, we're seeking a dedicated Regional Senior Care Assistant to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents across a 20-mile radius.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you'll need a background in care, a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care, and a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 3 NVQ is also desirable, along with a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry. You'll be passionate about supporting the wellbeing of residents and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Regional Senior Care Assistant, you'll be responsible for monitoring the delivery of care, contributing to person-centred care planning, and recording observations. You'll also provide support and companionship to residents and work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

You'll need a good understanding of elderly care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel across the area. We'll cover your mileage when you travel over five miles from your main home, and you'll qualify for a bonus if you're on duty at the time of an inspection and we achieve a Good' rating.
