The Eastern Region DCS Network is in search of a Regional Programme Manager for Commissioning to facilitate, coordinate, and propel the advancement of collaboration within the residential care sector across the Eastern Region.
This newly established position offers a remarkable opportunity to spearhead regional cooperation in the residential care field. In this capacity, you will engage with all 11 local authorities in the region, leveraging existing relationships to comprehend their challenges and successes in residential care, while formulating a regional sufficiency strategy to pinpoint areas where regional or sub-regional collaboration could yield benefits.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Ability to quickly and effectively establish themselves and fully assess and act on requirements Capacity to work collaboratively with others while driving change forward Tenacity, resilience, and determination when challenging established practices Strong understanding of the human experience of change and related processes Organizational skills with a natural inclination for strategic planning Proven track record in leading transformational change Familiarity with change management principles, methods, and tools Experience within the residential care market Background in modifying organizational and business processes to enhance efficiency and drive improvementsKey Responsibilities:
Develop and sustain robust, productive working relationships across the region with local authority colleagues and both internal and external partners and stakeholders Understand the challenges and strengths of individual local authorities and the region, identifying opportunities for collaboration and process re-engineering/development Gather, analyze, and present information regarding current challenges and successes in residential care, crafting a regional sufficiency strategy with evidence-based proposals. Assist colleagues in individual local authorities to recognize the opportunities for collaboration and innovation, along with the benefits it entails Establish connections with regional groups to understand other projects and identify potential collaborative opportunities.
