About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Contract Director to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our SARC regions, ensuring the smooth running of our services, and providing direction and leadership to our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioner/Contract Management: You will be accountable for the successful delivery of our Eastern region contracts, including overall financial performance, commissioner satisfaction, and provision of the service model.
  • Clinical: You will be responsible for ensuring that our forensic service conforms to all relevant quality standards, safeguarding is embedded throughout the service, and best practice for medicines management is followed.
  • Multi Agency Working: You will lead on regional operational groups and engage with local safeguarding boards.
  • Governance & Quality: You will be accountable for ensuring the QMS is up to date and fit for purpose, risk registers are up to date, and health and safety is maintained across the region.
  • Leadership: You will have leadership responsibility for all staff in the region, including performance management, MAST compliance, supervision, and appraisals.
Requirements
  • Previous management and leadership experience
  • Qualified Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification
  • Basic Life Support (training provided)
  • Proven strong judgement and analysis
  • Robust skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in managing contracts and teams
