Regional Programme Manager for Residential Care

The Eastern Region DCS Network is in search of a Regional Programme Manager for Residential Care, tasked with facilitating, coordinating, and advancing the transformation and collaboration within the residential care sector across the Eastern Region.
This newly established position offers a unique opportunity to spearhead regional collaboration in the residential care field. In this capacity, you will engage with all 11 local authorities in the region, leveraging existing relationships to comprehend their challenges and successes in residential care, while developing a regional sufficiency strategy aimed at identifying areas where regional or sub-regional collaboration can yield benefits.
Key Qualifications:
Ability to quickly establish a presence and effectively assess and respond to requirements Proficient in collaborative work and driving change through others Demonstrated tenacity, resilience, and determination in challenging established practices Strong understanding of the human experience of change and change management processes Highly organized with a strategic planning mindset Proven track record in leading transformational initiatives Familiarity with change management principles, methodologies, and tools Experience within the residential care market Background in restructuring organizational and business processes to enhance efficiency and drive improvementsPrimary Responsibilities:
Cultivate and sustain robust, productive relationships with local authority colleagues and both internal and external partners and stakeholders across the region Gain insights into the challenges and strengths of individual local authorities and the region, identifying opportunities for collaboration and process re-engineering Gather, analyze, and present data regarding current challenges and successes in residential care, developing a regional sufficiency strategy supported by evidence-based proposals. Assist colleagues in individual local authorities in recognizing available opportunities for collaboration and innovation, highlighting the benefits it can bring Establish connections with regional groups to understand ongoing projects and identify potential collaborative opportunities. Evaluate and report on collaboration opportunities to the Regional DCS Network Design and oversee a strategic steering group to ensure effective management and success of regional collaboration initiatives.Benefits of Working with Norfolk County Council:
