Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Outpatient Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT) service for a Band 3 Administrative Coordinator. This role is pivotal in supporting the clinical operations of the department, overseeing patient scheduling, and delivering administrative assistance to the team. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational abilities and will be eager to acquire and develop new competencies. Demonstrating the capacity to work autonomously while being adaptable and flexible to accommodate the demands of a busy department is essential.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Understanding and maintaining confidentiality in information management and record-keeping.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the team.
  • Handling inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients through various communication channels.
  • Executing general administrative tasks to ensure the seamless operation of the service.
  • Utilizing the Trust's Core Patient Database (CPD) system and other databases, with full training provided.
