Role Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, negotiating, and securing both freehold and leasehold opportunities to expand our store network, with a focus on creating value-driven prospects.
  • Conducting thorough site evaluations, development assessments, and managing the legal and planning due diligence processes for all potential sites.
  • Overseeing the entire lifecycle of planning applications, from initial submission to securing consent and fulfilling conditions.
  • Taking charge of all expansion, relocation, and enhancement initiatives for our existing infrastructure.
  • Building and nurturing robust relationships with local authorities, real estate agents, landlords, tenants, and developers.
  • Steering the comprehensive development and planning process from initial concept through to successful completion.
  • Managing our portfolio of freehold and leasehold properties effectively.

Candidate Requirements

  • A proactive and driven individual with a strong desire to achieve.
  • A degree-level qualification (minimum 2:2) in a relevant field.
  • Essential experience in retail acquisitions, land procurement, commercial real estate, or urban planning.
  • MRICS qualification is preferred.
  • A well-connected professional with excellent negotiation capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property and legal principles.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • A highly analytical mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
