Key Responsibilities

The administrative role encompasses a variety of tasks, including:

  • Digitally archiving patient-related documents to their medical records in a timely manner.
  • Enrolling new patients into the system.
  • Handling medical and insurance inquiries.
  • Retrieving and organizing records as needed.
  • Establishing and maintaining comprehensive patient records.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Practice Manager.
  • Assisting at the reception desk when required.

Chaldon Road Surgery operates as part of a partnership with multiple locations, serving a diverse patient base. Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grades A - C).
  • Experience in care, administration, or reception, or a strong willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Business Administration or Customer Service.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with GP reception duties.
  • Proficiency in using EMIS clinical computing system is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
