About the Role

As a Risk Governance Associate at Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the firm's regulatory compliance and risk management practices are aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to analyze and propose solutions for new regulatory changes.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the Asset and Wealth Management business to assess the impact of regulatory policies on business products, activities, and investors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address complex regulatory challenges and drive analysis and approach for regulatory changes.
  • Lead discussions to drive analysis and approach for regulatory changes and influence stakeholders to achieve engagement, impact analysis, and implementation decisions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years' relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of asset management products, wealth management investment platforms, and operational ecosystems.
  • Preferred experience in consulting or regulatory change in the capital markets/asset management industry.
  • Experience in regulatory strategy, roadmap, analysis, and implementation.
  • Background in Asset and/or Wealth management Risk, Controllers, Compliance, or Audit functions.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and change management skills.
  • Proven track record of designing solutions for complex problems.
  • Ability to build and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
