Lloyd's is seeking a highly skilled Senior Market Governance and Risk Associate to support the Market Governance, Risk and Resilience Senior Manager and the Head of Market Governance.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the Governance Indicators Framework, engaging with internal teams, providing reports to the Senior Manager on changes and developments, and preparing reports to the Market Oversight Group.
- Support the Senior Manager and Head of Function in conducting oversight, including meetings with Board Directors and Senior Executives of managing agents to discuss Risk Management and Governance.
- Relevant governance and risk management experience.
- Experience advising on risk management, performance, and regulation.
- Understanding of regulatory expectations in regard to governance and risk management.
- Knowledge of the factors that drive strong governance, an effective Board, developing and executing a successful strategy, and pitfalls to avoid.
- Knowledge of business process and systems change tools and best practice principles.
- Demonstrated empathy and the ability to gather insights that help to drive the Corporation's understanding of and response to issues and opportunities.
