Role Overview

As a Senior People Partner at iwoca, you will be instrumental in fostering and managing high-performing teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to guide and influence managers on performance management, talent identification, and employee engagement.
  • Utilizing your experience and empathy to navigate complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and prompt resolutions in alignment with iwoca's values.
  • Providing one-on-one coaching to managers to enhance their leadership skills.

Strategic Contributions

In addition to your direct responsibilities, you will contribute to iwoca's overall People strategy by:

  • Identifying and addressing issues related to team dynamics and culture, collaborating with the People team to implement effective solutions.
  • Evaluating new benefits and policies to enhance our employee value proposition.
  • Collaborating with the People Experience, Talent, and Ops Strategy teams to analyze data and identify trends affecting our workforce.

Collaboration Across Borders

This role will involve working with teams across the UK and Germany, ensuring cultural cohesion while respecting local differences. You will also gain insights into the varying employment laws between these two regions.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience in providing expert HR guidance and influencing stakeholders at both operational and strategic levels.
  • A curious mindset, eager to learn about iwoca's people management practices and how to leverage your HR expertise for positive outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work.
  • A genuine passion for people strategy and organizational culture, continuously seeking to enhance your knowledge through various resources.
  • A strong appreciation for feedback and the value of constructive disagreement within an organization.
  • A willingness to learn about employment laws in different markets, particularly in Germany.
  • While knowledge of German employment law is preferred, it is not mandatory.
  • German language skills are a plus but not required.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is between £70,000 and £80,000. We encourage candidates to share their salary expectations during the application process.
