Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Children's Rights Coordinator to become a vital part of our dynamic Rights team at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc. This role is essential in providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the Rights Managers who oversee the licensing and co-edition processes.

The Children's Rights Coordinator will be instrumental in supporting the Rights team and the overall objectives of the company. This position is ideal for individuals with relevant experience seeking a new opportunity or for those entering the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, including processing contracts, managing orders, and coordinating the distribution of translated author copies.
  • Oversee co-edition fulfillment by managing deal entries, maintaining schedules, and ensuring timely invoicing.
  • Address inquiries from internal teams, clients, and authors effectively.
  • Assist the Rights team in preparation for major book fairs and sales events.
  • Support the administrative management of key fiction brands.
  • Aid in the creation of rights guides and promotional materials.
  • Regularly update and maintain our industry-leading rights website.
  • Compile and distribute newsletters to clients while managing contact lists.
  • Facilitate the sale of cover designs, illustrations, and marketing assets to international partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong interest in rights management and a passion for literature.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with creative software such as Photoshop and email marketing tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle a diverse workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong collaborative and communication abilities.
