Children's Rights Sales Executive (Asia Team)

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a new Children's Rights Sales Executive to join our dynamic team and represent our exceptional Children's imprints in various Chinese-speaking markets.

Quarto is dedicated to creating inspiring publications for both adults and children, distributed worldwide. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting sales to our current clientele while also exploring new sales avenues.

Starting from £25,500 (commensurate with experience)

Working Hours

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We currently implement a flexible hybrid working model, with three days in our London office and two days working remotely.

Role Overview

You will be pivotal in enhancing sales of our children's collections within the Chinese-speaking markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass designated revenue and margin objectives.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements with clients for co-edition, nominated printer, and royalty arrangements.
  • Maximize sales with existing publishing partners through market visits.
  • Broaden the current customer base and pursue innovative sales initiatives.
  • Provide sales metrics, forecasts, and trend analyses.

Candidate Profile

We seek sales professionals with exceptional communication and commercial acumen. You should have a proven history of identifying promising sales opportunities and converting them into confirmed business. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess the adaptability to navigate change. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in additional languages, particularly Mandarin, is highly advantageous.
