Graduate Teaching Assistant in Psychology

Position Overview:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Psychology, you will be instrumental in fostering both the academic and personal growth of students.   • Support for Special Educational Needs (SEN): Collaborating with the SEN department to assist students with additional requirements. You will help in creating and executing tailored learning plans that address each student's specific needs.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Aiding in the gathering and evaluation of information related to student progress and well-being. You will contribute to the formulation of new strategies and interventions aimed at enhancing student outcomes.
  • Classroom Environment Management: Assisting in maintaining a constructive and engaging classroom atmosphere. You will support the teacher in managing student behavior and ensuring all learners are focused on their studies.
  • Collaboration with Educational Staff: Working closely with teachers, SEN Coordinators, and other support personnel to ensure that each student's needs are effectively met. You will be a vital part of the school's support network, helping to cultivate an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
  • A genuine interest in working with young individuals and aiding their development.
