Position Overview:

As a Mathematics Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in aiding both educators and learners, leveraging your mathematical knowledge to improve student comprehension and success. Your duties will encompass:

  • Classroom Assistance: Supporting educators in delivering interactive and effective mathematics lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Individual and Group Assistance: Offering personalized and small group support to students requiring extra help in grasping mathematical principles and problem-solving techniques.
  • Resource Development: Assisting in the preparation of educational materials, including worksheets, presentations, and other resources to facilitate lesson execution.
  • Monitoring Progress: Maintaining comprehensive records of student progress, pinpointing areas needing additional support, and communicating findings to educators and senior staff.

Qualifications:
