Your Role: We are in search of a proactive and skilled Chief Legal Officer to spearhead our legal and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute the legal and compliance strategy in alignment with our business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel across various operational facets, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, and employment law.
  • Oversee the drafting and negotiation of legal documents, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage the establishment and oversight of special purpose vehicle (SPV) debt facilities to facilitate our financing operations.
  • Design and implement effective compliance frameworks, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) policies, to mitigate regulatory risks.
  • Advise senior management on legal and regulatory issues, including risk evaluations and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote compliance initiatives and foster a culture of ethical conduct.
  • Stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes, assessing their implications for the business and proactively advising on potential challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in establishing SPV debt facilities and managing financing transactions.
  • Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills, with a strong background in commercial transactions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple legal matters while balancing business objectives.
  • Experience with data privacy and security regulations.
