Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned legal expert to join our dynamic team at Unily as the Chief Legal Officer. This pivotal role will provide comprehensive legal guidance across our expanding global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Sales Team and other departments, delivering pragmatic legal support.
  • Compliance Management: Oversee compliance with various legal frameworks, particularly focusing on data protection and SaaS agreements.
  • Integration Support: Facilitate the legal aspects of integrating newly acquired companies and assets.
  • Training and Development: Conduct internal training sessions for the Sales Team on commercial contracts and data protection principles.
  • Corporate Governance: Assist in executive deliverables, including Board Reviews and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing, inclusive legal team, ensuring effective onboarding and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in GDPR compliance.
  • Experience with SaaS agreements is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly with senior executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
