Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the legal department in providing high-quality legal services to our clients.
  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring that they are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide effective legal advice and guidance to our clients, ensuring that they are aware of their legal obligations and risks.
  • Manage a team of lawyers and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Work closely with our clients' Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer to ensure that our clients are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Have a commercial and business outlook to your work, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex legal problems.

Requirements:

  • An English qualified solicitor with at least 7 years' post-qualified experience.
  • Proven experience in managing a legal team and providing strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A commercial and business outlook, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex legal problems.
