Position: Financial Operations Coordinator

The Financial Operations Coordinator will assist in various aspects of the hotel’s financial management. This role supports the Accounts Manager in delivering precise and timely financial data to the hotel’s leadership, Regional Financial Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and stakeholders. The Coordinator will uphold robust control measures, comply with company policies, and oversee business resources.

  • All Department Heads
  • General Manager
  • External Vendors

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Duties

  • Gather, process, and compile daily reception and food & beverage banking
  • Verify paid outs and prepare cash change and float requirements
  • Conduct surprise cash counts and issue cashier float counts
  • Manage petty cash transactions and ensure accurate currency exchanges
  • Reconcile credit card transactions, prepare daily management reports, and verify revenue streams
  • Process gratuities and incentives, addressing credit card inquiries
  • Accounts Receivable Management
  • Review sales ledger invoices, process vendor invoices, and manage client setups
  • Dispatch invoices within five working days, resolve sales ledger inquiries, and generate airline invoices/summaries
  • Monitor timely closure of paymasters

Performance Metrics:

  • Adhere to deadlines and ensure systematic documentation
  • Operate efficiently, follow established procedures, and exceed regulatory requirements
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and adaptability

Self-Management:

  • Comply with hotel policies, grooming standards, and attendance regulations
  • Engage in training initiatives and pursue personal development

Health, Safety & Security:

  • Understand and adhere to health, hygiene, and fire safety protocols
  • Familiarize with emergency procedures and document security incidents

General Responsibilities:

  • Follow the company’s code of conduct and core values
  • Complete tasks as assigned, prioritize self-improvement, and support environmental initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively within a diverse team and maintain flexibility to meet operational needs
