Theatre Administrative Support Specialist | Ramsay Health | Full Time 37.5 Hours

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and proactive Theatre Administrative Support Specialist to assist clinical teams and theatre operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inquiries and communications related to theatre operations and departmental functions.
  • Provide administrative support to theatre teams.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels of consumables in theatres, including inventory management and rotation.
  • Oversee the ordering and procurement of medications for clinical areas.
  • Facilitate the procurement of necessary supplies for all clinical settings.
  • Serve as the primary contact for theatre-related matters.
  • Obtain quotations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain essential databases.
  • Prepare patient documentation as needed.
  • Liaise with consultants and their administrative staff.
  • Foster effective communication between hospital departments and external agencies.
  • Contribute actively to the goals and objectives of Ramsay Health.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by department heads and senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong educational background, ideally to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English and Mathematics is essential.
  • Experience in a customer service setting.
  • Competent in using PC applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage changing priorities.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Good presentation and organizational abilities.
