Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Theatre Practitioner to join our Orthopaedic Theatre Team at London Bridge Hospital.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Theatre Team in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the theatre department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Theatre Team in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the theatre department.
- Develop and implement effective theatre protocols and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient theatre workflow.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified.
- Current HCPC/NMC Registration.
- Extensive experience in Orthopaedics.
- People Management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
