Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Leader

London Bridge Hospital

Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week)

Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday with On-Call Duties

Shift Patterns: 4 and 5 days, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM

Compensation: Competitive salary with additional allowances and a welcome bonus (terms and conditions apply)

We are seeking a Senior Theatre Leader specializing in Orthopaedics to enhance our Theatre Team at London Bridge Hospital.

This role presents a unique opportunity to establish and develop your own service. We are looking for candidates who exhibit exceptional clinical expertise along with strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with internal management and external suppliers to procure necessary equipment. While there are no direct reports, the position entails significant Theatre Coordination responsibilities and some human resources tasks.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualified Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse.
  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration.
  • Extensive experience in Orthopaedic procedures.
  • Proven people management abilities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with scheduling and off-duty management.
