Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged within the Quality, Safety, and Patient Experience Directorate at Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust for a Quality Assurance Administrator. This role is part-time and permanent, offering flexibility with a combination of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance on designated initiatives within the Quality Assurance team, collaborating closely with the Quality Assurance Coordinator.
  • Act as the primary contact for receiving and documenting feedback from the public, as well as addressing inquiries or requests for information from both internal and external parties.
  • Deliver administrative support across all functions of the Quality Assurance team, allowing the postholder to acquire a broad range of knowledge and experience.

Proficiency in Welsh is preferred for this position; however, applications from both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.

Job Duties

The postholder will provide extensive administrative support to members of the Quality, Safety, and Patient Experience Directorate's Quality Assurance Team. This role will operate within the framework of NHS regulations and Trust policies, ensuring effective management of administrative tasks related to the Quality Assurance functions.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration or equivalent experience.
  • RSA Stage II typing/word processing qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience in an administrative setting, including coordinating schedules and managing complex inquiries.

  • Experience within a healthcare environment.
