Smart Metering Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

Affinity Water is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Auditor to join our Smart Metering Programme team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of all works conducted by our delivery partners and Affinity Water teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive quality assessments, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with established standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ensure quality of all works conducted by our delivery partners and Affinity Water teams.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality management principles and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Quality, Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
  • Hold a New Roads and Streetworks Act (NRSWA) Supervisor qualification.
  • Thorough understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and practices, with a focus on assurance and compliance within the utilities industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices governing quality assurance and compliance activities in the utilities sector.
  • Understanding of risk management principles and techniques to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with quality assurance activities.
