**Job Summary**

Affinity Water is seeking an experienced Operational Planner to join our Smart Metering Programme team. As an Operational Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation of smart meters in customers' homes.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Plan and schedule the installation of smart meters, utilizing data from multiple systems to create a comprehensive work schedule for direct and supply chain plumbing teams.

• Collaborate with direct and supply chain stakeholders to optimize resource allocation for peak efficiency.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance project outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and minimize costs.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software to plan and schedule work efficiently.

**Requirements**

• Proven experience in planning and scheduling for engineers, technicians, and plumbers in a multimillion-pound civil operations environment.

• Excellent understanding of customer service principles and how effective planning and scheduling can enhance the customer experience.

• Good knowledge of civil construction processes, including plumbing, excavation teams, and reinstatement procedures.

• Familiarity with the water industry, including water regulations and performance commitments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
