A key role within the Smart Metering team at Affinity Water, responsible for ensuring the successful installation of smart meters in customers' homes. The postholder will work closely with the Smart Metering Delivery Lead to optimize resource allocation and create a comprehensive work schedule for direct and supply chain plumbing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule the installation of smart meters, utilizing data from multiple systems to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Collaborate with direct and supply chain stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and peak efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive work schedule for direct and supply chain plumbing teams.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with customer regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in planning and scheduling for engineers, technicians, and plumbers in a multimillion-pound civil operations environment.
- Exceptional understanding of customer service and how effective planning and scheduling can enhance it.
- Good understanding of civil construction processes, including plumbing, excavation teams, and reinstatement procedures.
- Good knowledge of the water industry, including water regulations and performance commitments.
- Proven record in successful planning and scheduling, consistently adhering to KPIs for large-scale civil operations.
- Skilled in identifying potential risks in planning and scheduling processes and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ability to effectively interrogate and use multiple IT systems to plan and schedule work efficiently.
