Smart Metering Escalation Manager

The Smart Metering Escalation Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of the Smart Metering project at Affinity Water. This key position will be responsible for managing and resolving escalations within the Smart Metering program, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed and stakeholder satisfaction is maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and resolve escalations from various sources, including customers, local councils, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective escalation management processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Smart Metering team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on escalation management best practices.
- Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of escalations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Health & Safety qualifications: IOSH and CDM
- Practical problem-solving skills, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Influencing and negotiating skills to ensure best outcomes for the business and customers
- Proven continuous process improvement and change management experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Metering technologies, installations, and associated regulatory requirements within the utilities sector
- Proficient knowledge of escalation management principles, processes, and best practices
- Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement strategies and communication techniques
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices applicable to program delivery in a field environment
- Salary dependent on experience
