The Smart Metering Programme is a key initiative for Affinity Water, aiming to maximize benefits for customers, the environment, and the business through the installation of smart meters. As a Programme Delivery Manager, you will report to the Head of Smart Metering, under the Asset Strategy & Capital Delivery Directorate.

This role requires an experienced Programme Delivery Manager to oversee operational delivery aspects of the programme, ensuring effective execution and achievement of objectives. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our Smart Metering Programme, contributing to the overall success of Affinity Water's initiatives in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee programme delivery, ensuring effective execution and achievement of objectives.
  • Manage multiple delivery partners and coordinate end-to-end delivery from installation to completion.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance within field operations, promoting a culture of safety excellence.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve programme objectives.
  • Identify, assess, plan, and manage project risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Business Administration, Science, or Engineering.
  • Project/Programme Management Qualification (APM, PMP, Prince2).
  • Health & Safety qualifications: NEBOSH and CDM.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project or programme management, preferably within the utilities or Smart Metering sector.
