The Smart Metering Programme is a key initiative for Affinity Water, aiming to maximize benefits for customers, the environment, and the business from smart meter installations. As a Programme Delivery Manager, you will oversee operational delivery aspects, ensuring effective execution and achievement of objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Smart Metering, you will be responsible for managing the programme's operational delivery, ensuring effective execution and achievement of objectives. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our Smart Metering Programme, contributing to the overall success of Affinity Water's initiatives in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operational delivery aspects of the programme
  • Ensure effective execution and achievement of objectives
  • Manage programme risks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve programme objectives
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery from installation to completion

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business Administration, Science, or Engineering
  • Project/Programme Management Qualification (APM, PMP, Prince2)
  • Health & Safety qualifications: NEBOSH and CDM
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or programme management, preferably within the utilities or Smart Metering sector
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex programmes
