Our client, based in Aylesbury, are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their growing team. This is being recruited for an immediate start on a Permanent basis.

The successful individual will be highly organized and proactive Office Administrator who will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client’s office environment. From managing supplies to assisting senior management and overseeing administrative tasks, you will be a key contributor to our team’s success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Take inventory of office supplies and order as needed.

Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining office procedures.

Provide support to the senior management team as required.

Maintain online and paper filing systems.

Record office expenditure and manage the budget.

Manage supplies of stationery, equipment, and staff uniforms.

Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs.

Assist in the recruitment of new staff and provide training and induction support.

Ensure adequate staffing levels to cover absences and peaks in workload.

Assist with staff appraisals, performance management, and disciplinary administration.

Promote staff development, engagement, and training initiatives.

Prepare reports for senior management.

Review and update health and safety policies and ensure compliance.

Ensure adherence to data protection laws and review/update policies.

Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices.

**Skills Required**:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and other office packages.

Strong IT and typing skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Attention to detail.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.

Problem-solving approach to work.

Project-management skills.

Familiarity with legislation in areas such as employment, equality, diversity, and data protection (useful but not essential).

Ability to manage multiple projects in an organized manner.

Strong teamwork skills and openness to others’ ideas and suggestions.

Integrity, reliability, and maturity in all interactions.
