As an HR Coordinator, you will work closely with the Head of HR to provide comprehensive administrative HR support across the entire employee lifecycle. This includes recruitment, onboarding, contract management, and support during probation periods.
You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records in compliance with GDPR, overseeing office systems, and actively promoting a diverse and inclusive working environment. Your role will involve collaborating with the Business Support Department to ensure effective recruitment administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle.
- Maintain HR records in compliance with GDPR.
- Develop and maintain office systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Monitor and support employee probation periods.
- Manage HR and recruitment inboxes and general admin inquiries.
- Uphold confidentiality in all aspects of HR administration.
- Support employee communication processes and intranet management.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and ethical standards in people management.
- Contribute to the administration of occupational health service provision.
Experience gained within a high-volume HR Administration or Recruitment Administration role is **essential**. Preferably within a regulated environment.
Previous experience of working with a HR system is also preferred.
As this is a site-based role you must be able to commute to the Newcastle office daily.
This is a brand-new role in the HR team structure so a great time to join and be able to make an immediate impact by supporting the wider HR team and to develop skills and knowledge from an experienced and supportive team.
