An exciting opportunity has arisen for a field-based Business Development Manager based in London and the South to join our rapidly expanding financial services business.


With our expansion continuing through 2024, we are searching for enthusiastic individuals who will play a pivotal role in driving the continued growth of the business.


Currently, our core team consists of 16 internal members of staff and 40+ sales consultants across the UK. ZLX is now seeking self-motivated individuals who will make a real impact, which will allow you the opportunity to make the role your own. Although you will be based in London, you will be expected to travel to Glasgow for monthly sales meetings when required.


Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in all things R&D, Patent Box, Capital Allowances, and Land Remediation.
  • Achieve and exceed set targets.
  • Attain new clients.
  • Generate long-lasting revenue streams.
  • Assist the department manager by constant communication and enhancement of processes.
  • Visit clients' premises when necessary and attain a thorough understanding of the technical and fiscal requirements.
  • Understand the current process and how to produce technical narratives along with the production of the corresponding financial information.
  • Travel to our head office based in Glasgow for monthly sales meetings when required.


Skills:

  • Proven experience as Business Development Manager with an established network.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident proficiency in objection handling.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
  • Self-starter and great communicator.
