Job Title: German Speaking Business Development Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Language Business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a passion for the German language, and experience in the FinTech industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage a portfolio of customer relationships
  • Identify and acquire new customer relationships through qualification, pitching, negotiation, and sales
  • Develop a successful customer relationship and account management strategy
  • Drive new business opportunities in the DACH region through sales tools such as marketing activities (webinars, etc.)
  • Focus on acquiring new business from new or existing partners
  • Develop engaging webinars or workshop sessions and present to partners and their teams
  • Utilize networking skills through social media and attend events
  • Travel to Germany possibly once a month and organize social events for partners as needed
Expected Qualifications
  • Fluent German and English language skills are required
  • Previous experience in business development/customer relationship management - ideally in FinTech/financial services or e-commerce sector, but all industries considered
  • Experience with partnerships - from origin to management after integration - all industries considered
  • Track record of sales performance
  • Ability to report personal achievements to senior management
  • Ability to effectively communicate solutions
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Networker with entrepreneurial spirit with excellent verbal and written presentation skills
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary £60,000 - £75,000, % annual bonus, OTE £130,000
