Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on large prospective businesses to develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Utilize our extensive database of subscribers to build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and manage multi-stakeholder sales with global clients, including procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing and Content teams to provide valuable market and client feedback.
  • Occasional travel to client sites, events, and conferences.
  • Provide prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations.
  • Accurately report internal administration, including CRM activity logs and sales pipeline forecasting.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the legal intelligence space and our product positioning.
  • Work closely with Client Services and Account Management to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of B2B new business sales experience using a defined sales methodology.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record in hitting targets.
  • Experience in managing multi-stakeholder sales and negotiating contract/procurement processes.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask, prioritize, and respond quickly.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office and CRM systems, with experience in Salesforce preferred.
  • Sales motivated, team-focused attitude, and willingness to collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders.
