About The Opportunity…


Due to a restructure in our Marketing department, a rare opportunity has arisen. Arbortec is seeking an experienced individual, who can think outside the box and take our highly engaged existing social media channels to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset and a well-proven track record in successfully managing branded social media channels, whilst demonstrating the ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that enhance our online presence, engage our community, and promote our brand values and products. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and a deep passion for social media trends.

Working in-house from our new offices at the Arbortec Innovation Centre in Swaffham, this is a unique opportunity for someone who is determined to succeed in a high-performing team and eager to be part of a culture of continuous improvement. The main scope of the role involves taking full ownership of the company's social media in collaboration with our in-house content creator, who will be providing a constant stream of high-quality photos and video content for you to utilize.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of increasing our brand visibility and engagement across our digital platforms. You will create compelling content that captivates our audience, analyse its impact, and refine strategies to maximize effectiveness. You will be highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively. Being open to learning new things and a general well-rounded knowledge of all social media platforms is essential.

Must Have’s:

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       An ability to multitask and perform under pressure.

·       The ability to think strategically and creatively.

·       Proficient in graphic design.

·       Extensive experience in working with different social media channels commercially (2 Years + Preferred).


Your Responsibilities:


  • Manage and develop all aspects of the company’s social media profiles and online presence, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Pinterest.
  • Alongside our in-house videographer/photographer, create captivating, educational and entertaining social media posts that are formatted and crafted correctly for each specific platform.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement across socials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry influencers and Arbortec Ambassadors whilst managing activations and collaborations.
  • Develop and execute creative social media campaigns that set our brand apart in the digital landscape.
  •  Serve as the primary contact for all social media platforms, handling and prioritizing all incoming communications. Collaborate closely with customer service, compliance, product and development teams to address customer concerns and general feedback efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on social engagement and traffic analytics at daily, weekly, and monthly intervals to glean insights and guide future initiatives, while also demonstrating ROI to management.
  • Focus on building and maintaining a strong, consistent brand identity through regular, impactful short-form and long form content.


Additional Plus Points:


Comfortable in front of a camera, confident communicator.

Knowledge / high enthusiasm for the outdoors or arboriculture category.

Proficient in video and photo editing. High degree of familiarity of Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Suite preferred (or alternative software platforms). 

Experience with reporting platforms such as Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, etc.
