London, Greater London, United Kingdom Facebook Full time
Meta's App & Gaming business is one of the most influential in the industry driving 15% of all app installs in the world. Our products delivered over $15B revenue and is powered by an exceptional and passionate team across EMEA and the US. We have a goal to be the leading platform for App & Gaming developers globally, and have ambitious plans to scale to $35B+ by 2030.The App & Gaming ecosystem is changing fast, and this is creating many opportunities and some challenges for Meta. As the ecosystem is going through a massive change, we need to help consumers better understand how, for example, their data is used and why they should sign up for personalized ad experiences vs non-personalized ones. Regulators are putting increased pressure on other major players in the market, creating opportunities for Meta particularly in how Apps are distributed (currently via App Stores), and how consumers pay for goods in Apps (through centralized in app purchase mechanisms). Meta is well positioned to capitalize on these opportunities and shape the wider ecosystem and improve developer outcomes. We are looking for an exceptional leader to work to lead our EMEA engineering teams to shape the future of the App & Gaming ecosystem. This role is going to be a balance between building net new 0 to 1 products while also maturing our existing bets and scaling them out. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation plus a track record of structuring healthy organizations that encourage effective collaborations across multiple disciplines. You'll influence technical decision making, drive prioritization and execution, while managing outstanding engineers and engineering managers in a fast-paced, impact focused environment.Come join us on this journey to change the App & Gaming industry.
