Position Overview

As the Director of Software Engineering, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture centered around our people while overseeing a global team of engineering experts across diverse levels and specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Guide front-end and back-end development teams, ensuring effective project management and delivery.
  • Strategic Development: Define all facets of development, from selecting suitable technologies and workflows to establishing coding standards.
  • Future Planning: Design strategies for upcoming development initiatives aligned with the company's overarching goals and available resources.
  • Innovation Adoption: Propel the integration of cutting-edge technologies to refine engineering processes and enhance product development.
  • Policy Management: Review and update policies pertinent to internal systems and equipment.
  • Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance and coaching to developers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that software adheres to all quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility requirements.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Director or in a comparable senior-level role within an engineering division.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and contemporary human-computer interfaces.
  • Hands-on expertise in both back-end and front-end development using modern programming languages.
  • A solid understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience as a software architect or design engineer.
  • Strong background in software development and proficiency in various coding languages.
  • Excellent grasp of software and application design, including design patterns.
  • Experience in software quality assurance and implementing continuous integration.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
